Jeffrey P. Smith

Jeff P. Smith was a man of action, a self-taught naturalist, and a teacher who could inspire and motivate. Jeff was a renowned conservationist and lifelong Hollis resident who owned and operated the award-winning Buttonwood Farm (now the location for the Hollis/Brookline Cooperative High School) for more than 40 years before his retirement. He devoted the remainder of his life to the concerns of preserving land for future generations.
