    Description: This is a leisurely walking group for dog owners and their dogs. There will be time for stopping to look at animal tracks, evergreens and for taking photographs.
    Join our guides for a weekly exploration of Beaver Brook trails with our guides. One dog per person. Bring bags to clean up after your dogs. Bring fixed not flexible leads for your dog. Call to register 603-465-7787. $50/ $45 for Members.

    Cooking & Gardening with Herbs

    Description: Liz will take you on tour of the Maple Hill herb gardens. The gardens include many varieties of culinary, medicinal, and ornamental herbs all displayed in this beautifully designed herb garden. Throughout the tour Liz offers tips about how to plan a smaller version of an herb garden that will suit your homes landscape.

    Following the tour will be a cooking demonstration and sampling of two delicious recipes featuring fresh herbs. Liz will introduce you to healthy recipes using herb combinations that you can purchase and grow in your own garden. Add in Liz's easy cooking technique tips and you are on your way to creating great meals you can prepare at home. Enjoy a cooking demonstration of two recipes and samples for all to taste. Recipes and paper goods included.

    Liz Barbour has been cooking professionally in the Boston area since 1992 and started Liz Barbour’s Creative Feast in 2004. Liz built her cooking career in a variety of Boston's catering and restaurant settings. After starting her family, Liz reentered the food world as an instructor, sharing her professional experiences and knowledge with her students and clients through cooking demonstration classes, in-home cooking parties, and boutique-style private catering.

    Eyes on Owls - "Owls of the World"

    Description: Eyes on Owls will present "Owls of the World" from 1-2 and 3-4 pm. "Everyone participates in a hooting lesson and learns tips on how to attract and protect owls near you. While the selection of live owls varies, chances are you'll meet New England's tiniest owl, the Northern Saw-Whet Owl (weighing in at 4 ounces) along with the world's largest owl, the Eurasian Eagle Owl (check out that five foot wingspan!). Other species that figure prominently in this program include Eastern Screech Owl, Barred Owl, Barn Owl, Great-horned Owl, Snowy Owl and Spectacled Owl."
