Beaver Brook is offering a Composting ABCs workshop from 1-2:30 on Sunday May 14 at Maple Hill Farm 117 Ridge Road in Hollis. Learn how to get started composting. If you are already composting, learn some tips on how to make your compost break down quicker and without smelling or attracting nuisance animals.Tour the BBA compost court to learn the pros and cons of various constructions of composters. Vermicomposting will also be discussed.
Handouts will be available for all registrants to take home.

The traditional Wednesday Wildflower walks lead you through the trails of Beaver Brook in search of each week’s blooming wildflowers. Join the knowledgeable BBA instructor Rivka Schwartz on these walks. Walks take place each Wednesday through June 24th.

Feng Shui believes that everything is connected and that when the environment is balanced and filled with positive energy, it enhances life goals and leads to a feeling of tranquility. Practicing Feng Shui can improve health, finances, relationships and lead to an overall sense of well-being. Lisa will give an overview of Feng Shui philosophy, show how to use tools such as the Bagua map, and provide at least 10 ideas that you can implement immediately to improve your spaces.
