GIVE THE GIFT OF NATURE

Give the Gift of Nature to someone this year.  They can visit over 150 other nature centers in the U.S. and Canada for free with their Beaver Brook Membership card!   Nearby you can gain free entrance to the Squam Lake Science Center and Seacoast Science Center.  Or maybe  they’d like to travel to Tybee Island Marine Center, Manatee Observation Center in FL or the Canyonlands Institute in Moab, Utah.    See the list.

Mail in a check for $50 (Individual) or $75 (Family) specifying the recipients name and address or make on online donation in their name right here. You can send an e-card right away or we can snail mail a card.  We’ll even make you a custom gift basket or membership-in-a-bottle  with a tshirt for you to present as a gift if you call us  603-465-7787!

A gift card will be mailed to the recipients specified. If you choose to make them a Friend of Beaver Brook, a member packet with color maps and trail guides, a decal, and member card good at 153 nature centers nationwide, will be mailed to them.

Local Wildflower Bloom Book by Joan Bonnette $10

Wednesdays 9-11 am   

The traditional Wednesday Wildflower walks lead you through the trails of Beaver Brook in search of each week’s blooming wildflowers.  Join the knowledgeable BBA instructor Rivka Schwartz on these walks.  Walks take place each Wednesday through June 24th.
Free for members of BBA /$5 donation for non members.  Call or check location on website each week to make sure you are at the right trailhead.  603-465-7787.

Please join us for a morning of simple, hands on activities inspired by nature. Children and families will have opportunities to engage with fields, streams and forests through fun nature based exploration and experimentation. Pediatrician Dr. Andrew Jones will be on hand to speak with parents. Come prepared to be outdoors with water, snack, sunscreen & bug spray. Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate!
