Fitness Hiking

Since 2006,  Beaver Brook has been offering a Fitness Hiking program.  Participants know that the 1 or 2 hikes they take together each week has a long-lasting benefit to their overall health. This includes a aerobic fitness, reduction in colds and flu and elevated endorphins promoting positive wellbeing.

We hike on the 35 miles of Beaver Brook trails in Hollis, Brookline and Milford and also explore trails in the nearby towns of Pepperell, Amherst, Nashua, Dunstable, Merrimack & Wilton.

The hikes are relatively fast-paced (2.5-3 mph) and only include as much elevation gain as one can find in southern NH.
