Earth Day 5K April 14, 2012

Run for a cause:  your regional nature center!  Rivier College’s Earth Day 5K will benefit Beaver Brook Association so gather your friends and family to walk or run this event.  You can even win a prize by gathering the most sponsors!  $15 per person.  Race starts at 9 am.  Registration opens at 8 am.

Prizes will be awarded to runners in various categories, and walkers will be entered in a raffle. The course will begin and end at the Memorial Hall Parking Lot at the intersection of Clement and South Main Streets, Nashua. Sponsors and environmental organizations will be on-site with educational displays.

The race is open to the public, and will take place rain or shine. Advance registration fee for both runners and walkers is $10 postmarked by April 9; the fee is $15 the day of the race. For representatives from organizations setting up tables for the environmental fair, please have your table set up by 8 a.m. when registration opens. Runners and walkers can begin to check in at the registration table at 8 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m.
Directions:

General directions to the Rivier campus can be found at www.rivier.edu/directions. Once you turn off the rotary onto the campus, drive straight until you come to an intersection. Memorial Hall will be on your right and Regina Library will be on your left. Turn right to park next to Memorial Hall.
