Leadership Adventures
Students entering 8-10th grade! Here’s your chance to camp out at Beaver Brook and to expand your horizon by trying this fabulous class with Michelle Wilson
Take a break from Facebook! Solve wilderness challenges that are practical and thought-provoking. Ask: What does it mean to be a leader?… as you develop and uphold individual/team leadership qualities. Have fun leading outdoor adventure games with younger students and relaxing in the beauty of nature. Practice skills such as: navigation, land stewardship, self-awareness, shelter-building, knot-tying, plant & animal identification, confidence, and hiking smart. If you love to spend time outdoors with friends, this is the program for you! Be prepared to hike several miles each day in any weather. Includes one night of backcountry camping.
Date: July 9-13 (Overnight program)
Time: M,T,W 9:00am-2:00pm; Overnight Th 9:00am – F 2:00pm
