The Autumn Garden
The Autumn Garden is located directly across from The Herb Oval. A rail fence stands behind the entire length of this garden. In the fall, when many of the plants in the gardens have died back, the Autumn Garden continues to bloom, leading into Beaver Brookâs annual Fall Festival, held each year during September. Plants in this garden include: Hibiscus, Cup Plant, Sedum (Autumn Joy), Asters, Helenium, Ironweed, Canadian Burnet, Purple Cone Flower, Butterfly Weed, Bee Balm, Pink Turtlehead, and grasses. (The Japanese Tree Lilacs, flanking the ramp that crosses the swale, bloom in mid-June for summer Solstice.)
