Winter Wildlife Tracking

minksliderweb
January 20, 2013   10- 12:00 noon
Guided by trackers Gerry & Gail Coffey, we will look for track and signs of coyote, mink, fisher, otter, porcupine, moose, deer and bear. Learn how these animals adapt and survive in winter. Tracking is a great way to learn about the diversity of wildlife in the area and gain greater insights about their behavior.

Wear warm clothing in layers, warm socks and boots. Snowshoes, crampons and hiking poles may be useful for this off-trail hiking. Bring water and an energy snack.  Meet at  Rocky Pond Road parking area 1.7 miles north of the intersection with Route 130 in Hollis NH.  $10.
Call 603-465-7787 to register.
