2020 Dinner & Silent Auction

Please join us for a fun evening celebrating 55 years of environmental conservation by Beaver Brook Association.  This year’s featured speaker will be Dr. Thomas French. Dr. French will be speaking about how Wildlife Populations and public attitude toward them has changed over time in New England. He will also discuss the status of various at-risk species.

The event will feature hors d’oeuvres and dinner and  a cash bar.   Happy hour starts at 5:30 p.m.

Dr. French earned a B.S. in Biology from Georgia State University, an M.S. in Zoology from Auburn University, a Ph.D. in Ecology and Systematics from Indiana State University, and a post-doctoral position at Cornell University. He was formerly a zoologist with The Nature Conservancy and an instructor-naturalist and fieldbiologist with the National Audubon Society.  Most recently Tom served as an Assistant Director oft he Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, where he directed the Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program.   He has written over  70 papers on mammals, birds and herptiles, and works media to foster greater public interest in conservation.
