Leashed dogs are welcome on all trails at Beaver Brook.
LEASHES: Dogs are welcome at Beaver Brook, but MUST be leashed at all times and kept under control by their owner. There are no exceptions to this rule and repeat offenders will be referred to the Hollis Police Department.
- Leashes protect dogs from becoming lost and from chasing wild animals. Unleashed dogs may harass, injure, or sometimes kill wildlife.
- Leashes allow everyone a peaceful hike. Unleashed dogs may intimidate children and other hikers and their dogs.
Trail users, along with their dogs, are encouraged to stay on marked trails leaving the land, wildlife and plant life undisturbed.
DOG WASTE: Beaver Brook is a carry-in and carry-out facility and this also pertains to cleaning up after dogs. Please take any dog waste home for proper disposal; “going off the trail” is not a solution – Leave No Trace.
